This week, our school organized an exciting English Language Week. Students were immersed in the cultures of English-speaking countries, learned a lot, and were able to express their creative side.

Third graders met Paddington, a kind and gentle character from British literature. They learned the story of his arrival in London, watched excerpts from the book and film, and discussed why friendship and caring for others are so important.

It was equally interesting to learn about the American holiday of Thanksgiving. The children learned about the history of the holiday, the traditions of the family dinner and the meaning of gratitude. Together, we discussed why each of us can say “thank you”.

Throughout the week, students created a variety of projects: colorful posters, creative presentations, and themed constructions. They enthusiastically participated in quizzes and group work, strengthening not only their English language skills but also their collaboration skills.

The atmosphere at school was lively and inspiring. The children laughed, learned new things, were amazed and proud of their achievements. English Language Week showed that learning can be fun and interesting!
